Terms and Conditions
The Alliance Mental Health text messaging program sends appointment, telehealth, billing, and care coordination messages to patients and authorized representatives who have opted in. By opting in you agree to these terms.
Messages you'll receive
- Appointment confirmations, reminders, and reschedule requests
- Telehealth visit links and check-in instructions
- Intake and consent form links
- Billing and account balance notifications
- Care coordination follow-ups from our staff
- Replies to questions you send us
We do not send marketing or promotional texts. Messages are limited to scheduling and administrative information and do not include diagnostic or treatment details.
How to opt in
You can opt in by providing your mobile number and checking the consent box on our patient intake, telehealth consent, or website contact forms; by texting START to our number; or by telling our staff during a call or visit, which we document in your chart. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving treatment or any service.
Frequency, cost, and opting out
Message frequency varies based on your appointments and account activity.
Message and data rates may apply. Alliance Mental Health does not charge for these messages, but your mobile carrier's standard rates apply.
Reply STOP to any message to end all texts. You'll receive one confirmation and no further messages. Reply HELP for program information and our contact details, or call us at 970-682-2376.
Eligibility and your responsibilities
You must be 18 or older, or the parent or legal guardian of a minor patient, and the authorized user or account holder of the mobile number you provide. Tell us promptly if your number changes or is reassigned, so messages about your care don't reach someone else.
Delivery and privacy
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text messaging is not a secure channel and is not confidential in the way our clinical systems are — please don't send clinical details by text, and be aware that anyone with access to your phone may see our messages. How we handle your information, including our commitment not to share mobile numbers, is described in our Privacy Policy.
Not for emergencies
This program is not monitored around the clock and is not a way to reach us urgently. In a mental health or medical emergency, call or text 988, or dial 911. Do not use text messaging to report an emergency, a medication reaction, or thoughts of harming yourself or others.
Supported carriers and changes
The program works with major U.S. wireless carriers, and carrier support may change without notice. We may modify or discontinue the program, or update these terms, at any time by posting the revised terms on this page.
